while im working on stuff, celebrating both 150 + 40 followers, im doing a CHARACTER QNA! ask any questions to the objects of the solar system and amuse in lore

hey fellas, PlanetX here. Up until now ive made mostly educational or fun fact-ish comics about space. what would yall think of an AU storyline or something?

Before Haumea was recognized as a dwarf planet, the crew who discovered it called it "Santa" as a placeholder name, since it was discovered around christmas.

Mercury doesnt have an atmosphere. due to this, its temperatures go WILD. half of its surface is scoarched at 430°C, and the other frozen at -180°C

Venus, although doesnt have a permanent moon, it does have a QUASI-MOON. Zoozve is an asteroid that has its orbit aligned with Venus, and orbits it temporarily

Dwarf planet Quaoar has some very weird and interesting rings. Mostly because they sit OUTSIDE of Quaoar's Roche limit, making it "impossible" to exist.
